Hello all! It has been a while since I’ve actively worked on this site. The main reason I haven’t updated the site much in such a long time is mostly because my hyperfixation ended, and I can’t say for certain when it will come back. I do hope to make some big updates here at some point this year but who knows when the motivation reaches me. Another problem I have is that I’m employed full time now! I have approximately 10,000 hobbies and no time for any of them. But anyway, I’m feeling inspired today and though I’m too rusty to get any actual coding done I thought I’d write a blog post with a series of life updates and some of my ideas for this site.
I had a lot of fun at furry migration! It was my second year going and I’m super excited to go again this year too (especially to meet kkclue and outsidewolves!). Me and my friends hosted a panel called Objectum Smash or Pass and it was a surprise hit. Turns out people will smash just about any object that isn’t an HP printer.
(This section is the most image-heavy)
Here’s footage of the judges from the dance competition, taken with a 3DS camera.

I was wearing a kacheek hat so someone gave me a kacheek at the opening ceremony! :D

I played toys at the pup mosh.

Furry rave.

Here’s a photo of me and some of my friends in fursuit!!

Oh yeah, my friend was one of 3(?) Tenna cosplayers at the con (he’s the one in the middle). Really, Deltarune fans!?
I’m too lazy to get halloween pics but imagine festivities involving Count Chocula, Dracula Flow, classic scary youtube videos, a meat pie and a hot punch, the green Pippins, and Roblox Forsaken in my cold garage.
Internet Kids is a local rave I’ve also attended a few times now! It’s always a lot of fun and the music is my type of shitttt bro. The venue this time was really small so it was split between 2 nights; I went to the Friday show. Overall the venue wasn’t my favorite because of the claustrophobia but it did let me get really close to the CRTs without feeling like I’m being intrusive.
Here’s some random footage, once again filmed on my Nintendo 3DS. You can see the afforementioned CRTs!

And that’s about it for the last half-year! And with that let’s move on to…
ACTUALLY UPDATE MY ART GALLERY. Ugh I’m sorry y’all. I got a new computer rather abruptly and for some reason it has made me really reluctant to go through my art files and get my gallery up to date. But that’s my main priority in terms of more time-consuming updates.
I want to finish my IRL pet pages of course. I might scrape what already exists cuz I’m not the biggest fan of how I drew them… I also want to make a rainbow bridge page for pets that have passed away.
Collection pages! I was thinking about this a lot at work. It would be a pain in the ass to keep up-to-date but I’ve been wanting to make a digital representation of my physical collections for a long time now. Namely my plushies, CDs, LPS, maybe books? OH and games would be good (note to self: start collecting physical games again…)
More fanlistings! 2 isn’t a good number. I want more. BTW, if you haven’t seen my fanlistings, consider joining them if you’re into 100 gecs or Fight Club!
Revamp the layout. Now that I have an HD display, everything looks really small. I especially want to make the commission page mobile-friendly and more accessible. I’m also considering a separate website just for commission info but… It’s probably not worth it right now.
I NEED to figure out how to make the page URL change depending on what’s in the iframe. Right now I’m using an iframe for the page content to help with navigation but it bothers me that I can’t link to a specific page with the main navigation included. (For instance, if you’re viewing this from my homepage, the url should just be radrocket.neocities.org/home rather than radrocket.neocities.org/blog/bla-bla-bla). I’m a new coder still so I have no clue how to do this LOL
That’s it for right now! If anyone read this, thank you! Please feel free to leave any feedback you want below.
